Home Staging - Preparing your home to sell for Top Dollar!
According to Wikipedia, "Home staging is the act of preparing a private residence for sale in the real estate marketplace. The goal of staging is to make a home appealing to the highest number of potential buyers, thereby selling a property more swiftly and for more money. Staging techniques focus on improving a property's appeal by transforming it into a welcoming, attractive product that anyone might want. People usually use arts, painting, accessories, lights, greenery, and carpet to stage the home, to give potential buyers a more attractive first impression of the property."
But there are several levels of staging services. Maybe you just need a hand selecting a new paint color(s) and/or rearranging existing furniture, artwork and accessories to increase your home’s appeal. Or maybe you have a vacant home to sell and need furnishings to warm up the space. Clutter got you overwhelmed? I can help with that too. I actually had a client who decided not to move after I had staged their home - that’s how much of an impact it can have!

What does home staging cost?
Consults and smaller projects are typically billed hourly at a rate of $80/hour. Most of my clients choose this option.
Mid-size to larger projects are typically billed at a flat rate. I will provide an estimate after an onsite consultation where we can spend some time in the space and discuss staging options.

The Market is Hot. Do I Need to Stage My Home? The answer is yes!
I often have sellers ask “why do I need to stage my home in a hot market???” My response is “you don’t. Unless of course, you want to sell it faster and for more money”. Don’t take my word for it, the statics are clear:
